Historically muted

Sudbury Yellow, which takes its names from the staircase at Sudbury Hall, is particularly susceptible to changes in different light conditions. It reads cleaner and brighter in well lit rooms, particularly when contrasted with a bright white, and softens down in spaces deprived of light and with a stronger contrast like Old White.

White & Light Tones Undercoat.
