The Pearwood Collection celebrates the history of Cole & Son and pays tribute to its extensive block print archive and the printing techniques developed by the design house throughout its history. Pearwood takes its name from the fruit wood blocks originally used by John Perry, founder of Cole & Son. The pear wood having been retained for its solidity, which made it possible to cut the patterns in the smallest details.
