Hardwick White doesn’t look very white to most people, unless you contrast it with very strong dark colours like Off-Black. It definitely is a traditional grey, less blue than Lamp Room Gray and with unsurpassed depth of colour. However it sits just as well in a contemporary room as it does in a historic house.
