Jan van Kessel, Flemish painter, lived from 1626 to 1679. His favorite field was the painting of animals like birds and insects but also created paintings of still life. His painting seems to be focused on scientific topics, botanical and zoological.
Tropical Birds is a landscape populated by various birds include both tropical birds like parrots but also other less exotic birds such as swans and penguins. All built a poetic and luminous work. This beautiful setting is made of a vinyl wallpaper and consists of 7 widths of 53 cm x 290 cm. This is a decorative panel 371 cm x 290 cm.
